Mr. Ron André is the band director. He is the music department head at Mesquite High School, and is the assistant director for the symphony orchestra (starting 2000-01 school year.) He was an assistant director at Greenfield JHS prior to coming to Mesquite, and is a graduate of Dobson High School, therefore an extremely talented musician.

Miss Stephanie Laubmeier is the new full-time assistant band director at Mesquite. She is a woodwind specialist whose talents will be a welcome addition to the extremely fine staff.

Ms. Amber Whitaker is the orchestra director at Mesquite High School, and is also an assistant director for the concert bands I and II, and marching band. She is the director for the symphony orchestra, as well.

Ms. Alexa Overby is the colorguard instructor at Mesquite. She teaches in the art department (Photo and Art) at Gilbert High School.

Mr. Jeff Fine is the drumline instructor.

Mr. Dale Ballard is the assistant drumline instructor.
